During a recent Q&A session held on September 7, 2025, Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Shams Jorjani confirmed that the next installment in the Helldivers franchise, Helldivers 3, will feature a social hub reminiscent of the iconic Tower from Bungie's Destiny series.

The current entry, Helldivers 2, released recently on Xbox Series X and S and supported by Sony, offers players a limited staging area aboard spaceships for up to three players to prepare for missions by customizing loadouts and appearance. However, it lacks a larger dedicated social space. Following calls from the community, including a suggestion made on Arrowhead’s Discord channel, Jorjani responded unequivocally that such a social hub is “on the feature list for the next one,” signaling firm development plans for Helldivers 3.

This announcement comes as Arrowhead continues to actively support Helldivers 2, highlighted by the “Into the Unjust” update which introduced Hive Worlds. Production director Alex Bolle has previously stated the studio’s intent to nurture Helldivers 2 with ongoing updates for years, emphasizing a commitment to evolve the live game environment and integrate new systems.

The introduction of a Destiny-style social hub could transform Helldivers 3’s multiplayer experience by fostering larger player gatherings, social interactions, and community events within a space station setting. Such hubs have become a staple in multiplayer gaming, enabling players to meet, trade, show off customization options, and participate in social mini-games.
